Originally from the Northern Virginia area, I fell in love with Raleigh when I visited back in 1998. A year later I moved here and opened my wellness practice. Raleigh is such a great place to raise our kids, with great colleges, great companies and its close to the mountains and beaches to enjoy outdoor family activities.
We Focus on Wellness
I had an early background in exercise physiology and loved working with athletes. Over time I saw the benefits of chiropractic care on overall health. Today, as a chiropractor in North Raleigh I love being able to work with people to correct the underlying problems. I also enjoy helping patients change certain lifestyle issues that allow those original problems to develop. I think it makes much more sense to fix or correct a problem if you can educate the person on how they got that way - and what they need to do to fix it - so they can keep it that way. This is why we put great emphasis on teaching people how to regain their health by eating well, moving well and thinking well.
Over the 17 years I've been in practice in North Raleigh I've come to realize that the patients who seem to get the best results are the ones who realize we are their partners in the healing! I can’t get someone well on my own. Those who show up to their appointments when scheduled, do their exercises or other prescribed care and maintain what we correct, get well the fastest - and stay well.
