Your First Visit
We ask that you download the initial paperwork here on our website and have it filled out prior to coming to your first visit to ensure you minimal waiting time.
When you arrive to our North Raleigh chiropractic office to your first visit you will be greeted by our friendly team. We will begin by performing a thorough health history with you to discuss your current state of health. During this consultation we will listen to your concerns and goals, and ask the appropriate questions to discover the underlying cause of your health concern.
Postural and Spinal Examination
After having an understanding of the issues involved we will perform a postural and spinal examination. During the examination, North Raleigh Chiropractor, Dr. Ashforth will feel and motion palpate your spine to check for restricted movement and note any areas of pain or spasm.
A painless thermal scan of your spine will be done next to give us a computerized evaluation to help confirm the area of the spinal misalignment known as subluxation. Then, if necessary we will take X-rays to further evaluate the spine and determine the precise misalignment of the spine. The information from your health history, consultation, examination and x-rays are then evaluated and analyzed to determine the proper course of action.
Plan on spending between 30-45 minutes with us on your initial visit.
On your second visit, after a full review of the information, Dr. Ashforth will discuss his findings with you and give his best recommendations to regain and optimize your health and wellness. We will then begin the journey to get you back to functioning and being at your best.
